Website Committee - St. Paul's Church, Kandy

We are in the digital world, where information is at our finger tips. The times we had to depend on many people and offices are fast disappearing due to the availability of information in the internet. The need to move forward with the available technology and make use of the digital media for the propagation of Good News was discussed by the Trustees and a website for St. Paul’s was approved on the 26th September 2014.

Having a website is a measure of increasing visibility, viability and stability. It helps people all over the world to visit, search, be known and exchange missions, prayers and many resources being accessible all 24hrs a day for 365 days.

St. Paul’s with its History since 1843 throughout generations has so much to offer in many areas. What

was known about St. Paul’s family all these years among a few friends and the visitor to Sri Lanka will be known throughout the world in the future years.

Indeed this is a historic occasion to the family of St. Paul’s and to all her friends outside Sri Lanka and may this website give glory to God in every possible way.

On behalf of the parish I sincerely thank Mr Suresh Perera our Developer of Mann IT and all the members who tirelessly worked in creating and launching the website. Mr Sene Seneviratne who did the most difficult part of compiling and documenting our history is commendable. I sincerely thank everyone who sent in their reports about parish activities, missions and other committees.

May God Bless this occasion and guide us as we launch this website with future activities to his greater glory!
