175th Anniversary Prayer
Gracious God, we give thanks for the journey that started 175 years ago, as we think back of those who had a vision of a church of St Paul the great apostle, who carried your good news to the corners of the world. We pray for the founders, and the pilgrims who journeyed with tears and smiles, through challenges and victories all these years to grow as a witnessing, spiritual, caring, community to her neighbours and other faiths. Give us a deep faith, a steadfast hope, a burning love of our Lord, so that we can proclaim with St Paul “it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me”. Holy Spirit, be present now, as we pray for our beloved church..
